The Great Indoors

The Great Indoors

What is it about colder weather that makes us want to bring so much of outside in?

No need to spend a bunch of money on season decorations, here’s some inspiration using items you can find right outside your own door!

Just because Halloween is over, doesn’t mean pumpkins and gourds are out of the question. Spruce them up with metallic paint or leave them au natural. Leaves can also be a nice touch but make sure they’re sturdy enough so they don’t crumble and make a mess.

Branches and pinecones are another natural way to bring a natural element into your home for decor accessories or table settings. The candle light really sets them off and you can write things you are thankful for and hang them off the branches – a great idea for a Thanksgiving centerpiece.

Prefer a more non-traditional route? Have a little fun with metallic spray paint! The sky’s the limit when it comes to bringing the out doors in. The key is to make sure everything is cleaned and bug free of course. The spray paint will also help kill any tiny stowaways at the dinner table!
